January 21, The Arlington Bowie Vols blew out the Paschal Panthers of a score of 74-34. The Vols were led by Kyler Edwards, Cade Cunningham and Donoven Davenport. Kyler Edwards had 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Cade finished with 16 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. While Davenport finished with 14 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. After the game I talked to Kyler and Donoven. I asked them “how did you guys prepare for this first match-up with the Panthers”, and Kyler replied saying “ We studied film and we had to make sure we executed on all cylinders to make sure we beat them. Donoven said “ We played them last year so we know what to expect and we were confident that we could get the job done so we just had to get the job done.”
